This is my most recent painting. It is an asignment on naturaly lit atmosphere. This is AJ and his dog Dignan... and a bottle of bubbles (man's best friends right?). Anyway, I did it in acrylic 3ft by 3ft (quite big) and spent about a month on it. Sorry its been a while between postings, but I had a winter break in school. Please enjoy.
P.S. I will probably be updating the image because I am really unhappy with this reproduction.
If I could fav this one 10 times....sorry I can only fav it once.
The atmosphere is wonderful and the details are amazing. I think this is one of your best.
hhmmm....I'm hoping you WILL update it. Maybe it's just me, but something doesn't fit together... "basking in the sun" + very dark painting + naturally lit. It seems almost like it is painted from a photograph of a naturally lit place which was once very bright, but b/c the camera was on too fast of a shutter-speed, it came out looking kinda dark.
Aww, why aren't you happy with it? I think it looks amazing. Maybe the piece doesn't fit too well with the title, as it's not exactly brightly lit with sun, but as far as the painting itself goes, well, I think it's great. You've captured life in it. Seems that at any moment, something in it will move.
wow it's really amazing! I love the colours and the light captured in the painting
